Choose any one of the following to complete for a test grade. Remember, this counts as a test grade!

1. Build a scaffold or a jail accrding to Hawthorne's description.
2. Dress as one of the main characters and speak on what it is like to be that character.
3. Write a week's worth of diary entries telling what it is like to be Hester Prynne. Each entry should be about 1-2 pages long.
4. Draw a scene from the book or a portrait of a main character.
5. Duplicate the scarlet A on Hester's chest (cloth must be used).
6. Write a news article about the scene of Hester's punishment. This must be a journalistic account.
