- adduced: to cite as an example or means of proof
- averred: stated to be true; affirmed

- irrefragible: that cannot be refuted
- obeisance: a gesture of respect or reverence
- plebeian: on of the common people
- effervescence: bubbling up; foaming
- depredations: plunderings; robberies
- probity: complete honesty
- Necromancy: the art claiming to fortell the future by alleged communication with the dead
- indefatigable: tireless
